Mello music group hits us with another dope album by fresh faced crew DTMD featuring beats from Kev brown, Oddisee, and some dope rhymes featuring My favorite newcomer "YU".

Very smooth beats definitely a huge dilla influence there.

This album is great and hopefully a bright sign of things to come. Shit these kids ain't even old enough to drink yet. Damn

Gummy soul hits us with a quirky but surprisingly good beat tape of de la soul acapellas over fela kuti loops.

Much in the same vein as the "Ghostfunk" beat tape a while back.

You really can't mess with fela kuti's music as a sample it just sounds so earthy and warm. And de la's flow over the top just compliments it perfectly.

Evidence kills it best hip hop track of the year so far? maybe between this "Dirty- NAS" and I gotta say I know watch the throne had its fair share of haters but "welcome to the jungle" was ridiculous!
