Xmas came early this year. This mixtape seems like something I have been waiting along time for. Its not everyday 2 of your top G.O.A.T Mc's drop a free tape. Bussa Buss and Tip dropped their new mixtape "THE ABSTRACT & THE DRAGON" for free download yesterday (see below)following on from their new great new single the Alicia Meyers sampling "ThankYou", and it definitely didn't disappoint. Filled with some great new material such as "We takin off", "Butch & Sundance" and the title track. Also a Kid capri remix of thankYou which is basically just capri shouting over the intro. It also includes some great old gems like the scenario remix , vivrant thing & for the nasty. If I had only 1 complaint it would be that I would like some more new stuff on there but overall it really showed the amazing partnership of these two giants who have been collaborating together for over 20 years now. So I realised after spending so much time trying to hustle myself onto other peoples blogs and radio shows I had totally forgot about my own hahaha. In fairness I have been flat out the past few weeks with gigs and travel. So here is my latest "Gimme Something" feat one of my favourite Mc's out TY. Its an uptempo afro beat affair using various rare afro funk samples , Rhodes, live horns from the ruby horns and Live guitar from Nick Sheppard (the clash).
