Dj Premier & Joey Bada$$ - Unorthodox

While the rest of the worlds hip hop artists are producing half time, low slung 70 bpm club tunes, it's refreshing to Hear certain artists from NY (Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson e.t.c) keeping the golden era head nodders alive.

20 year old BK kid Joey Bada$$ seems to definitely be a breath of fresh air in hip hop today. Spitting concious lyrics over crunchy drums. And who else to provide the soundtrack then The living legend "Dj Premier". In his signature simple chops and breaks with scratch hooks and Joey's very brooklyn flow this tune is more new york than a chill dawg!!!!

TROPICAL DISCOTHEQUE MIX

The crew here at THINKTWICEPRODUCTIONS have been pushing the tropical vibes a lot in perth at the moment. Every sunday at defectors bar "upstairs at the flying scotsman" and a monthly sunday at fremantle arts centre. So I have put this mixtape together of some of the flavours we will be spinning at these party's.

Crown ruler Mix

heres a mix I did for the adelaide based "CROWN RULER"

over 2 hour freestyle mix of hip hop, future beat, soul, disco, jazz, dub and house more on the smoother side than my usual mixes but music I've been really feeling lately.

90's hip hop mix tapes are a dime a dozen these days all using the same old cliched jams. However handsome paddy comes through with some heavy underground 90's boom bap selections on this.
